Journey with the car
From northern direction, motorway A 8 Munich - Salzburg until exit Holzkirchen, further on the federal roads B 318 / B 307 to the Tegernseer Tal.
From southern direction, you reach Rottach-Egern either via the Inntal, the Achenpaß and the B 307 or the Inntal motorway, motorway A 8 Salzburg - Munich until exit Irschenberg, then via Miesbach on the B 472 / B 307 to the Tegernseer Tal.
Journey with the train
By train, you reach the Tegernseer Tal from Munich every hour. The BOB Bayerische Oberlandbahn takes you in one hour from Munich central station to the station in Tegernsee. There are regular bus connections to Rottach-Egern.
Journey with the airplain
The nearest airport is the Franz-Josef-Strauß airport in Munich. By car, it is approx. 1,5h (90 km) distant from the Tegernseer Tal. There is a regular suburban fast train connection (lines S 1 and S 8), or by airport shuttle bus to Munich central station.
